The rubberized "pebble textured" mat makes an excellent "Non Slip" grooming top surface which will offer years of service. It can also be used as a great non-slip liner for the inside of your crate when purchased separately. Its soft pliable rubber offers excellent ruggedness and durability for years of use. The attractive aluminum trim is riveted around the edge of the crate to finish off the crate top (as represented in the image below).
