The Zinger Winger II™ (ZW-ll) is one of our most popular wingers because it offers the best overall value for your money. While it doesn’t throw quite as far as the Field Trialer (see comparison chart) it stills launches a bird exactly like you will see at your weekend Hunt Test or Field Trial and its overall compact size and light weight design are a big plus when transporting them in your vehicle and into the field.
This winger will launch ducks, pheasants, pigeons, Dokkens, and bumpers as well as live flyers. It weighs only 13 pounds and measures 1 1/2" x 25" x 56" when folded flat. Its versatility allows the user to quickly choose direction, arc and height of the throw.
The Zinger Winger II G5 features our heavy duty hinges, an upgraded wire harness and our exclusive Sure-Shot release mechanism for consistent and accurate throws. which fires a 209 primer to simulate a shot in the field. The primer fires as soon as the mark is launched allowing your dog to more easily mark the bird as it sails thru the air. This increases the dogs’ chance of finding the bird and helps to instill a successful attitude in the dog. It’s also important to remember that the launcher can be operated without firing a blank for a silent launch.
When combined with Remote Release Electronics (sold separately) from Dogtra or Garmin (Tritronics) it becomes an important part of your dog training equipment that will quickly improve your dogs marking ability. In order for your dog to successfully compete on a consistent basis they must be trained on marks that have the same distance, arc and height of marks seen at your weekend Hunt Tests and Field Trials. To operate your winger remotely, order your remote release electronics here! A remote Zinger Winger is a must for training by yourself.
Each Zinger Winger comes standard with our new “Rolling Release" pouch bolt. This release bolt is designed to provide the winger with a smooth and flawless launch while eliminating any possible hang ups of your winger pouch and misfiring of the primers due to worn eye bolts and metal wear. No maintenance is required.
More champion retrievers have been trained using Zinger Winger remote launchers than any other winger on the market!
*All Zinger Wingers™ are "Made in Canada" using parts and suppliers from both the USA and Canada.

“In our business the equipment we use must be dependable and work everyday. We train with our Zinger Wingers 5 days a week and I have yet to have a mechanical problem. I recommend them to my clients.”

“Just wanted to let you know that I trained with my Zinger Wingers for two weeks in the Rockies during my vacation and I am really happy with them. They are always consistent and the throws are great.”

“Just wanted to let you know we’re having a blast with the Zinger Winger. The dogs LOVE it. Has worked great for a couple of headswing cases we have. They can’t take their eyes off it even with two other close gunners. Also used it to shoot flyers and it was incredible. We’re really enjoying it. Thanks again.”

“I have sent 1000’s of training birds through my two Zinger Wingers. They both still look close to new and nothing has bent, broken, fallen off, or needed adjustment. I have trained with almost all the launcher brands on the market, and the convenience of the Zinger Winger’s lightweight design is second to none. What really tickles me is how “grab and go” they are. They set up so fast it is hard to believe if you have used any other winger brands. Since they are never staked down, it was a pleasant surprise to find out how stable they are in a cross wind. I use them in some strong winds and they have never even threatened to tip over. Finally, being able to adjust the throw angle infinitely, and reposition the winger quickly without messing with stakes, are practical advantages if you need make a change in the fall for one young dog in the training group. Because it’s so easy to do, you’ll tend to make the adjustments you should make for the individual dog, rather than make a young dog “come up to the test” because it’s too hard to move a winger. I like this. They’re a really great training tool.”

I am enjoying using the the double zinger wingers with the remotes. It is great for practicing double marks without a gunner or two. For me this means being able to schedule training sessions alone without having to arrange time with the availability of others.

This equipment has totally changed my approach to training. After 43 years as a professional trainer this is definitely a “new trick” for an “old dog!”

I just purchased two Zinger II’s and would also like to give Zinger a thumbs up. I called not know which unit would be the best fit for what I needed and the voice on the phone took the time to find out what I needed and they arrived in about 7 days, which is a great turn around these day!!! I too say thank you to Zinger Winger!!
